Jallianwala Bagh

Today marks the martyrdom of one of my heroes from history, SHAHEED UDHAM SINGH (Ram Mohammad Singh Azaad).  Long live his dream of equality and justice and spirit of fighting for what is right.  Amazing that he carried the trauma of having seen one of the worst massacres in history for almost 21 years before exacting his revenge for the innocents slaughtered in Punjab.  He would later change his name to Ram Mohammad Singh Azaad, representing the 3 religions of India RAM – Hindu/Mohammad – Islam/Singh – Sikh/ Azaad – Free.

Udham Singh

Wicked song about him singing to his pistol not to betray him in his time of need.
